How Bibbo uses a child photo and order information.
What you provide
An adult may provide a child’s first name, a photo, an email address, and delivery details to create and order a personalized book. A selected photo stays in your browser until you continue to secure checkout. If you choose “Remember this child on this device”, the child’s first name and photo are stored only in that browser so you can reuse them for a later order; you can remove them from the child list at any time. Each order uploads the photo again and follows the same order-based retention. Joining the optional Birthday Club also collects the child’s birthday, a parent or guardian email address, and explicit email consent.
Why we use it
The photo and name are used to create the personalized artwork and support the order. Delivery details are used to fulfill the order. If you confirm Birthday Club by email, we use the birthday, first name, and adult email to send an annual book offer and one reminder. You can unsubscribe through either email.
Service providers and retention
Your order information and uploaded photo are processed on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in Hangzhou, China. Cloudflare delivers the website and API traffic; Clerk handles optional sign-in; PayPal hosts payment approval and handles payment; Resend delivers order and Birthday Club emails. A child photo and first name may be sent to OpenAI for personalized artwork. Printing and delivery providers receive only the details needed for production and shipping. These services may process data outside your country, including in China and the United States. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Uploaded source photos are scheduled for deletion after 30 days; if an active order still needs a photo, deletion is deferred until that use ends. Order, payment and customer-service records may be kept longer where needed for fulfillment, disputes or legal obligations. Birthday Club details are kept while the subscription is active, with limited unsubscribe and request records afterward. To request deletion of or access to your information, contact us below.

Optional website analytics
If you allow optional analytics, Google Analytics measures public pages, book-browsing actions, checkout steps and purchase totals using cookies. Purchase events use a pseudonymous identifier to prevent duplicate counting. We do not send child names, photos, email addresses, delivery details, order access links or payment tokens to analytics. Analytics is off until you choose to allow it; use Analytics settings in the footer to change your choice. Advertising features are disabled.
