Read the eight scenes in order. The names and illustrations below belong to the fictional sample, so you can choose the story before personalizing it.

1. The Missing Star Dew

Mia, Mom and Dad entered the quiet mushroom forest. The deer ranger showed them an empty stand: the bottle of star dew was missing, and the northern path had gone dark.

2. Clues at the Stream

At the stream, Mia found golden drops and a torn corner of an old bark map. Together, the family traced the clues toward the northern tree hollow.

3. Helping the Squirrel

A squirrel postman had dropped a bag of parcels. Mia sorted them by color while Mom and Dad gathered them, helping a neighbor before continuing their search.

4. The Northern Hollow

After they helped the squirrel, a moving mushroom house revealed the tree hollow. Inside, Mia spotted the one lost star-dew bottle.

5. A Promise Remembered

The bottle held an unfinished promise to repair the northern lamps. The firefly lamplighter admitted forgetting it, and Mia offered to help keep the promise.

6. Repairing the Path

Mia passed the lamp wicks, Dad steadied each lamp, and Mom checked the work with the lamplighter. The northern path became safe and warm again.

7. Dew Returned

With the promise fulfilled, Mia returned the star dew to the deer ranger. The stream began to flow again, and everyone remembered what they had done together.
